All equipment is supplied and installed by our fully trained Operators and has full Public Liability Insurance.All our inflatables comply with current Health & Safety Guidelines. They are manufactured from 18oz (610gsm) PVC, fire retardant to BS5438 and have 2” (50mm) webbing reinforcement to all bed seams to ensure maximum durability. How do I book? It is preferable to telephone but you may also email. Contact information is at the top of this or see contact page
What notice do I need to book? The earlier the better especially during May to September, but we may have availability the day before or even on the day so do give us a call.
Do I have to pay a deposit? No deposit is required.
What method of payment do you accept? Either cash/cheque with guarantee card on delivery or cheque received in advance allowing sufficient time for funds to clear. We do not accept credit/debit card payments.
What does the price include? Free delivery within the vale of Belvoir and a small charge for outlying areas. Please contact us for delivery prices for other areas.
How long do I have the use of the bouncy castle? The daily rate is the same for a few hours or for most of the day. As most parties are in the afternoon, we would usually deliver and set up between 9am and 12 noon. We will arrange a time after your party has finished to collect, usually after 6pm but no later than 9pm.
Do you charge a cancellation fee? A cancellation fee would only be charged should you fail to give notice. Please give as much notice as possible so that we may hire out to another customer requesting your date.
What if it rains or is very windy? During heavy rainfall or very windy conditions the inflatable should not be used. If these weather conditions are forcast you have the right to cancel the booking. Likewise we reserve the right to cancel if we think the weather conditions would cause safety issues. This would be done before 10am.
What if it rains during a hire? All our units have built in covers and the fans and extension leads have waterproof connectors and are fitted with RCD circuit breakers. The plug to the mains must be indoors. During heavy rain we recommend that you do not use the castle as it can become slippery when wet.
How long does it take to set up and dismantle? This depends on where it is sited and usually takes 10 to 15 minutes to set up and 20 to 30 minutes to dismantle.
Do I need to have a grassed area to site the castle? It is preferable to site on a level grassy area which is free from sharp objects and stones. Please be aware that we need to stake the inflatable around the sides and back with heavy duty 37cm (15”) stakes. You must let us know if there are likely to be any cables or pipes under the ground where we need to use the stakes.
What about access? Our inflatables will be delivered using a sack trolley so we will need adequate access for this. Please advise of any steps to negotiate and make sure the path to the site is free of obstacles.
Do I need to provide anything? Only clear access as stated above together with a 240 volt indoor electricity supply within 15 metres (50 feet) of the site of the bouncy castle.
What are my responsibilities? To ensure that the blower/fan is kept on throughout the period of hire - failure to do this will result in the rapid deflation of the bouncy castle which could prove dangerous for the users. Please see our 'Terms of Hire' for detailed safety and correct usage instructions.
Can we hire a castle for indoors? Yes, providing the room/hall is a suitable size with sufficient height and allows the use of a bouncy castle and also the use of sandbags to weight it down. Please note, that for hire at a venue other than your home address, 2 forms of ID are required - one with photo such as driving licence or passport and one with current home address such as a recent utility bill.
What about insurance? We have public liability insurance which would cover accidents caused by failure of equipment only. The person/organization hiring the equipment will be responsible for any accidents caused as a result of misuse or by poor supervision. The hirer is also responsible for making sure that the inflatable does not become damaged.
